I know we will travel far
I stare out of the window
And into the night
The stars they shine so bright
The sun is setting, to go to bed
The moon appearing right over my head
The misty swirling sunset takes place
No daylight, not a peep or a trace
And as the car tumbles down a hill
I lie back in my seat and sit quite still
I hold my breath and count to ten
As I feast my eyes upon the Glen
It’s dipping hills and vast green grass
The car rolls up and down so fast
I turn around and gaze at the sight
The amazing Glen, it stands out so bright
It may be dark and gloomy, and well into the night
But the beautiful Glen gives off so much light.
