It burns like fire
The deep throbbing pain
That covers my desire
My heart has been ripped
Torn into shreds
Covered with blood
And filled with dread
I can’t breathe
I’m drowning down under
A flash of light
And a clap of thunder
My vision is black
A sea of doubt
I open my mouth
And try to shout
But the words don’t come
They’re lost in the air
I’m afraid that is life
It’s really not fair
