An ongoing wave
Lapping at the shore
Grains of sand
On the ocean floor

Salty and fresh
It makes you feel alive
Loud and terrifying
As you struggle to survive

You gasp as you fall
Down, deep under
As the waves clap
As loud as thunder

A boat sails past
As you gasp for breath
Then your lungs sink
As you wait for death.

The sun is always shining

The sky is always blue

The Greeks they are friendly

They like to welcome you

Poor little Lucy

He killed all those folk

But he is my favourite character

He’s a captivating bloke

A snowflake pattering in the sky

A robin as it swoops up high

The sound of a mother calling her child

The sight of a hedgehog in the wild

A young baby with its curly soft hair

Money for charity from people that care

A walk in the woods passing by trees

A honey filled hive full of bumblebees

A beautiful red rose with petals like silk

A cow feeding its young some milk

The crisp morning air after a night of rain

The snow gathered on a window pane

Fireworks shooting into the dark

A swarm of children playing in the park

A horse galloping with its shining fur

A cat when it gives its purr

Toddlers muttering their first words

A nest filled with a dozen of baby birds

This is beauty of life itself

Nature and man combined

Everything in every place
